The site allows those in each category to chat with others in the forums and satisfy their insatiable need to share their experiences with others and contribute to topical matters, as well as satisfying a personal thirst for information about the changes affecting them during pregnancy. The shop allows users to purchase good quality clothes and products which they may find troublesome, impossible or embarassing to purchase in a high street store.

The website was conceived in 2005 by a mum following the birth of her first child, and was later developed by a mum of three with a passion for sharing her experiences with others, and seeking guidance from those with similar experiences to herself. "Like many women I had two plain sailing pregnancies, and then on my third I went into premature labour which led to the premature birth of my second son at 24 weeks.

Since the birth I have been on an emotional rollercoaster, spending time in special care baby units, high dependency units, neurological units and general medical wards. All of these experiences were new to me and I was keen to meet others physically or online who ad been through similar experiences.
