Bump Magic was conceived in 2005 by Melanie Hatton following the birth of her first child. Recognising that every mum-to-be has a thirst for information about the changes affecting them during pregnancy, a struggle to source good maternity clothes and products, and an insatiable need to share their experiences with others, Melanie set to work creating Bump Magic, a complete online resource for the mum-to-be.

"Looking back, those nine months were such a steep learning curve: understanding what was happening to me and my unborn baby, getting to grips with the Do's and Don'ts of pregnancy, experimenting with a new wardrobe and building up a network of pregnant friends, I was so busy being pregnant I almost forgot to enjoy it."

Like most women pregnant with their first child, I was initially concerned about what to expect in pregnancy, but I was amazed at how enjoyable and positive an experience pregnancy actually can be. I hope that Bump Magic will help you to enjoy your pregnancy too."

Bump Magic was finally born in Spring 2006 comprising an online store, information and advice centre and community pages, its goal is to become the preferred online resource for every pregnant woman in the UK.
